Andy couldn't get through the first five minutes of the program today without mentioning (along with accompanying audio, of course) Joe Biden's hilarious quote today that made a large audience of college students start to giggle. "I promise you," Biden said, "The President has a big stick." Did he not read his speech out loud before going out on stage? That may have been helpful. Yes, I know he was referencing the Teddy Roosevelt quote, "Speak softly and carry a big stick," but what a poor choice of words!

Vogue published an article called "A Rose in the Desert" which praised the first lady of Syria, Asma al-Assad for her glamour and "energetic grace," but deleted it from the web when all of the slaughtering started. Andy welcomes bestselling author Robin Gaby Fisher who wrote an amazing book called The Woman Who Wasn't There. In this book she tells the true story of a woman who pretended for six years to be a 9/11 survivor when in fact, she wasn't in the building at all. The details of this story are just astounding.
