Andy couldn't get through the first five minutes of the program today without mentioning (along with accompanying audio, of course) Joe Biden's hilarious quote today that made a large audience of college students start to giggle.  "I promise you," Biden said, "The President has a big stick."  Did he not read his speech out loud before going out on stage?  That may have been helpful.  Yes, I know he was referencing the Teddy Roosevelt quote, "Speak softly and carry a big stick," but what a poor choice of words!

The Video Monologue is entitled Inside the Mind of the Liberal Elite.  Here he explains how liberal guilt leads to class warfare.  Later he takes your calls on the matter because he loves you.  Vogue published an article called "A Rose in the Desert" which praised the first lady of Syria, Asma al-Assad for her glamour and "energetic grace," but deleted it from the web when all of the slaughtering started.  Andy welcomes bestselling author Robin Gaby Fisher who wrote an amazing book called The Woman Who Wasn't There.  In this book she tells the true story of a woman who pretended for six years to be a 9/11 survivor when in fact, she wasn't in the building at all.  The details of this story are just astounding.  If you missed this segment, you'll definitely want to check it out in the Podcast

Defense Attorney Brad Cohen joins Andy to discuss the death penalty.  Connecticut just became the 17th state to abolish the death penalty.  Brad, who is against the death penalty, argues with Andy and callers on this subject.  So many of you called in to voice your opinions!  Next, Producer Miranda comes in studio for a little Bizarre News.  Let me tell you something, I love me some moonwalk; I mean who doesn't?  However, it's safe to say this guy likes it a little too much considering he was willing to point a rifle at someone while ordering them to perform.  A man drives a van off a cliff while trying to evade the police.  A bus driver gets into a fist fight with a passenger who stole her wallet

In Hour 3 Jeff Tietz calls in to talk about his article in this month's issue of Men's Journal Magazine entitled "150 Miles."  It's about the drug violence along the U.S. - Mexico border.  Chris Mathews compares conservatives to the KKK.  Marco Rubio's new biography may have some negative competition.  Andy rally's against the Vermont Coalition for Vaccine Choice.  Dreamworks is under investigation by the SEC for bribing Chinese officials to secure exclusive film rights in the communist  country.  To wrap the show, J. Holland joins Andy live from the NFL Draft at Radio City Music Hall in New York.

That's it for today, kids.  If you want to catch up on anything you missed you can find every show here

Yours,

Producer Michelle
