Andy skipped a monologue today in favor of further coverage of yesterday’s Tornado in Oklahoma.  He welcomed Oklahoma City Reporter Beth Myers to the show for updates.  Drew Findling called in for his regular legal segment and there was a lot to talk about.  They jumped right in to the shocking news today that the Ft. Hood shooter and Muslim Terrorist (violent employee?) Nidal Hasan is STILL receiving a paycheck from taxpayers while in prison.  Drew also covered the latest with the Jodi Arias case including her bizarre court appearance today.  Jack Boston from AccuWeather.com called in to provide an update on the tornado situation as well as provide insight and analysis of Barbara Boxer’s statements connecting the Oklahoma Tornado with Climate Change.

Wayne Root also came on to report the news that scandals don’t hurt President Obama’s approval ratings.  He also spoke about the latest news out of the IRS scandal and how Kathleen Sebelius is under investigation for soliciting private funds to promote Obama Care.  Chris Cox from KOTK in Oklahoma City gave Andy an update on the situation in Moore following yesterday’s massive tornado.  I closed the hour with a little Bizarre News including a hilarious story of Andy’s choosing, a woman who poisoned her whole family, and a bizarre gas station scam.

The always lovely Janet E. Johnson called in to give her expert opinion on today’s top legal stories including the news that Jodi Arias will start making national television appearances as early as tonight.  She also followed up with a previously reported story about a Las Vegas mental hospital dumping patients in Los Angeles and abandoning them on the streets – well, it was reported today that legal action will be taken.  This was my favorite part of today’s show, Ginny Rapini of the NorCal Tea Party called in to speak with Andy following the breaking news today that her organization had officially filed suit against the IRS.  She spoke about how she worked tirelessly to get tax exempt status for the group only to be denied after three years of roadblocks and ignored calls.  Her story was incredible, a must listen!

It feels so good to be back!  I had a blast in Hawaii but started to go a little stir crazy.

Andy got right down to business today with the monologue revealing the smoking gun in the IRS scandal.  There is a clear connection in the timeline between Obama meeting with the IRS Union Chief Colleen Kelley and the targeting of conservatives.  Added to the mix came the news reported this morning that a top IRS attorney once bailed out Obama’s pastor, Jeremiah Wright.  Andy gave a great Hypocrisy Alert today – Bill Maher who in one breath condemns guns but refuses to hand his over.  Mercedes Schlapp called in to give some political analysis of the IRS scandal and Jack Boston from AccuWeather gave us an update on the tragic tornado devastation in Moore Oklahoma.

Mike Walker joined Andy for the latest reports out of the National Enquirer.  They talked about OJ Simpson and how he spends $3,000 at the prison commissary every month – which would explain his weight gain (all muscle, HA!).  They also got into Jane Fonda and her transition from traitor to tutor, giving Cameron Diaz gold digger lessons.  Dr. Mitch called in with an awesome medical segment today.  He always knocks it out of the park!  He analyzed the connection between erectile dysfunction and the abundance of men on prescription painkillers.  He also discussed the amounts of disgusting bacteria and fecal matter found in public swimming pools (naturally) as well as women’s handbags (WHAAAAT?!).  My favorite part was the breakdown of Angelina Jolie’s double mastectomy and one woman’s outrage that it isn’t reasonable to ask this of regular everyday women who can’t afford the treatments, recovery time, and reconstructive surgery.

Our expert meteorologist, Jack Boston, called back with an update on the Oklahoma tornadoes.  I joined Andy in studio for Bizarre News where I talked about the Powerball winner out of Florida and how they are NOT allowed to claim the money anonymously.  I also gave some details surrounding the purchase of the ticket including the merchant and the method.  We also broke down last night’s Billboard Music Awards and played audio from Justin Bieber’s emotional acceptance speech for his pseudo-lifetime achievement award that they made up for him because he was sad about not winning any Grammys…anyway…my favorite story was about the cute college girl from Colorado that had to be rescued from her hike after she freaked out on mushrooms.  Fun!

Hi there!

I can't believe how quickly this week has flown by.  Miranda will be back from Hawaii next week, which I'm quite excited about!  

Today was a fun Friday show.  Andy's Monologue was called The One Year Delay and in it he explains how all of the IRS official have known about this IRS scandal for a year now and did nothing about it.  In fact, when former IRS chief Steven Miller testified today, he said that he doesn't even think that targeting conservatives is considered illegal!  Where are the ethics and the morals?!  Andy thinks that if the American public knew about this scandal when it was happening, the outcome of the election could have been different.  But no one spoke up for what was right.  He takes a ton of your calls on this. 

Matt DeBord, one of my personal faves, calls in to talk business.  They cover the $600 mah-mah-mah-Million Powerball!!  I'm definitely getting a ticket!  They also discuss the IRS scandal, Obama's new Commerce Secretary getting paid through an offshore account, and YouTube could be worth $20 Billion by 2020.  Jeepers!  Next, I come on to do the Entertainment Report.  Andy and I go over the movies being released this weekend, "the show must go on" despite crime at the Cannes, and a Taylor Swift fan swims two miles in the ocean at 2AM to get to her Rhode Island beach house.  Immediately following he takes a call from Bill who LOVES the Entertainment Report.  And by "love" I mean he despises me...I mean it.  :/  It's cool Bill; I can take it.  And I can't fault a guy who simply doesn't want to hear about Lindsay Lohan's rehab and Bea Arthur's boobs.  It's not everyone's cup of tea.  But sometimes we need to lighten things up and take Andy's mind off of the things that depress him so much.  Golden Girl boobies are at least good for that!  Can't we agree?

Next, bestselling author Erica Greider comes on to talk about her book, Big Hot Cheap and Right: What America Can Learn from the Strange Genius of Texas.  The title pretty much explains the topic.  Texas is awesome, and other states need to start paying more attention to what they're doing.  Next, I warily and humbly step into some VERY big shoes (not literally; her feet are small and perfect) when I fill in for Producer Miranda on Bizarre News!  She gave me her blessing before the segment, so it was all good.  It was a blast.  I can't tell you how much I laughed while finding these stories.  I love stupid people.  We talked about a Pastor arrested for watching child porn…on the job…at Disney World, Firefighters who rescue a cop who was rescuing a cat in a tree, proof that nobody likes Joe Biden, and a drunk man cuts off his own penis to get back at girlfriend.  Ah-mazing.

Hello everybody!

Whoa!  What a day!  First, Andy opens with his Video Monologue entitled The Two-Day Gap, which is all about the Benghazi emails.  Andy explains that the emails released to the public start on September 14th, excluding the critical emails that took place in the two days directly following the September 11th attack.  Why are these important two days worth of emails missing?  Andy believes it was within those two days that the creation of the fictionalized idea that the YouTube video was to blame took place.  What do you think?  He takes your calls on the matter.  Also, despite what's happened with Benghazi, Susan Rice is poised for a promotion. How sweet.

Political Expert Paul Westcott joins Andy to continue covering the latest about the Benghazi emails and gives an IRS update.  And then, the highlight of today's show - the most awkward moment in America Now history, since Ann Coulter scolded Andy on-air for calling her a little "extreme."  It is in this moment, in the middle of Hour 2 that Andy gets into a verbal altercation with Dr. Ezekiel Emanuel, formerly one of Obama's top health advisors and an architect of ObamaCare.  The interview has a pleasant beginning; I can hear Dr. Emanuel's smile in his voice as he talks of his upbringing; happily explaining how he and his brothers grew up to be Liberals when Andy asked.  I like him.  Everything is going smoothly until Andy turns to Ezekiel's recent WSJ article about ObamaCare.  Their back-and-forth begins to speed up, the volume level rises a bit, my face gets hot (from embarrassment? fear??) and before you know it old Zeke loses his temper!  He's yelling, "YOU DON'T GET A CHOICE!!," a sound clip that will surely be overplayed on our show for weeks to come.  If you missed this, I suggest you take a listen.  Andy made some great points with the doctor and some of them went un-rebutted.  As off-putting as Andy can be to some of our guests, they can't deny his ability to debate.  And to top it all off, Andy's like that kid who pokes until you're angry and then laughs when you lose your lid.  You just can't win with the K.O.N.C.!  

Hour 3 is an intimate one with just you, Andy, and phone calls on any and all topics.  People call in to talk about the exciting inteview with Zeke and express who they think won the debate.

Happy Hump Day!

Well we've made it through half the week together now without burning the building down (huzzah!), but I do miss Producer Miranda terribly.  Today she sent me a few pictures from Hawaii...which made me miss her less and hate her more, but that's ok.  At least one can live vicariously.  Sigh.  I also wore a hula skirt all day, listened to Bette Midler's 'Ukulele Lady' on repeat, and dusted off my favorite coconut-shaped drinking cup that I got at a theme park when I was kid, but that's neither here nor there.  

Ok, before this gets weird (too late) let's get to the show details, shall we?  Andy opens with a strong Video Monologue entitled No Second Term Curse.  He talks about how the mainstream media keeps referencing the "second term curse" when discussing all the scandals currently breaking under the Obama Administration.  But Andy argues that in fact all of these scandals took place during Obama's first term.  Not his second.  The difference is that during his first term, the media wasn't doing their job (unless, of course, their 'job' was to cover up these scandals until Obama was re-elected - that, they did really well).  This is all old news that is finally coming to light.  He also gives more details about the IRS targeting conservative groups including examples of the invasive questions sent to Tea Party and pro-Israel groups when they filed for tax-exempt status.  In 2014, the IRS will be in charge of enforcing 20% of our economy under ObamaCare. IRS is setting up a data hub, which will be used to determine subsidies. It is the largest grouping of information systems ever devised…yet they can’t even process tea party applications.  Very scary stuff.  Andy believes the silver lining here is that all of this coming to light will make ObamaCare fail faster than he originally thought.

Left Leaning Attorney Justin Leto opens Hour 2.  They talk about Jodi Arias being eligible for the death penalty, the IRS scandal, and the Department of Justice wiretap of AP phone lines.  Andy takes some calls and then welcomes the lovely Stephanie Duchaine for the Tech Report.  They cover the new Google voice technology, Apple reaches 50 billion downloads, and the Google I/O announcements.  

In the last hour he talks with political expert Dan Holler.  He and Andy argue about which job title pulls fewer ladies - Conservative Radio Host or Washington Insider.  I'm gonna call it a tie.  They cover the Obama White House reaction to scandals, the DOJ wiretaps, and will Speaker Boehner follow through on IRS firings?  Andy wraps the show with more of your calls.
